Underestimating The Unacknowledged
We come to this class to receive "credit"; college credit, a knowledge of the romantic period which may entail legitimacy in such discourse, or creds simply for reading more books than other people. But if we are going to take Shelley and the romantic movement's manifesto seriously, we will seek to embody their values in our study, to grasp the powers of change that are readily available to us all and realize that our lives do not begin when we are handed our diploma; they have already begun.
