The Shelleys and Byron...Oh, Byron.

I realize that the cartoon beyond this link may seem inappropriate to some. Therefore, this is an official disclaimer---only click this link if you think that Lord Byron is as silly as I think he is.

Enjoy (I think)!

  1. Ok so this website is amazing, and dare I include a different comic from it that you (Keaton) have probably already seen? Ahem, well that's coming soon. I would like to preface this comment-response-comic with some facts about Anne Bronte. The youngest of three sisters, Anne was extremely overshadowed by her sisters Charlotte and Emily (author of "Wuthering Heights!") It's hard to compete with Jane Eyre and multiple novels when you're only able to write a book of poetry (...with her sisters) and two novels which didn't gain as much historical important as those of her prominent sisters. Reading "Wuthering Heights" has given us a window into the Gothic and Romantic notions held in Emily Bronte's mind, as well as a clear view of her ability to create sadistic and unstable characters, to say the least.

Henceforth, I am posting this link. (Thank you, Keaton)

  2. I'll check that one out. My two personal favorites are the H.G. Wells-Jules Verne one (being the sci-fi nerd that I am) and the Edgar Allan Poe-Jules Verne one. The latter is f****** hilarious if you know how Verne felt about Poe. I'll post the links.
